Sample Social Media Calendar

Updated: Jan 2, 2020

Polygons Social Media Calendar:

MONDAY

 Instagram: Part 1 of 3 part photo series. Close up of measuring spoon (whole measuring spoon will be revealed after all 3 picture parts are connected on the main Polygon Instagram page) Caption: “Not…”

 Facebook: Introduce the product with simple, artistic photo. Caption “Not your mom’s

measuring spoon” with link to website.

 Pinterest: This will be a useful platform to reach bloggers who will cook with the spoon and then write about it. This will require less attention than the other platforms but will still be useful. I would suggest making three boards to begin with: Polygons’ Products, Polygons’ Recipes, Polygons’ Features, and Things Polygons Loves. Monday will be the launch of the boards.

TUESDAY

 Instagram: Part 2 of 3 part series. Second photo to connect the whole measuring spoon image. Caption: “…your mama’s…”

 Facebook: Graphic explaining measurements and materials. Caption “Shaping the future of the kitchen, one Polygon at a time.” With link to About Us/How to use page of website.

 Pinterest: Add articles and PR on Polygons’ product to “features” pin board.

WEDNESDAY

 Instagram: Part 3 of 3 series. Third photo close up photo connects the whole spoon. Caption: “…Measuring spoon.”

 Facebook: Week 1 of “Wine Down Wednesday” video series. Every Wednesday a new cooking video is posted. The video includes the spokesperson with a glass of wine, cooking, while using the polygons product to measure. This can also be switched out for a different day if no alcohol use is preferred (i.e. Fry it up Fridays, Simmering Saturdays, Fixin’s Fridays). Attach link to recipe on website blog (and/or promote pinterest!).

 Pinterest: Add Wine Down Wednesday recipe to recipe pin board.

THURSDAY

 Instagram: Post edgy yet informational video. Caption is “Polygons is not your mama’s

measuring spoon. Inspired by origami, the Polygons 4-in-1 measuring spoon is the future of ease and organization in the kitchen. Are you ready for it?”

 Facebook: Post informational video. Videos on Facebook can be longer, slower and include more wording than Instagram.

 Pinterest: Engagement. Follow and engage with prominent bloggers as well as big name

companies such as BuzzFeed Food, HuffPostTaste, ect.

FRIDAY

 Instagram: Artistic, on-brand photo of Polygon spoon being used in the kitchen. Caption is

“Eating is a necessity but cooking is an art –Julia Childs”

 Facebook: Post photo with quote plus add in the link to Polygons website.

 Pinterest: Add outside recipes or pins that relate to the product in the Things Polygons’ Loves board. Do you need a measuring spoon in that bloggers’ recipe? Pin it to this board.

SATURDAY

 Instagram: On-brand graphic explaining the measurements and materials. Caption is “Shaping the future of the kitchen one Polygon at a time.”

 Facebook: Post same graphic to Facebook, add RESHAPE YOUR KITCHEN: link to direct product purchase page.

 Pinterest: Engagement.

SUNDAY

 Instagram: Repost Mashable, Huffington Post, or another big name company who shared the Polygon product on their page.

 Facebook: Post article from a big name company to our Facebook page.

 Pinterest: Engagement.
